Jeff Pinder
Senior Pastor
Dr. Jeff Pinder began his ministry at First Baptist in the fall of 2009. He was ordained to the ministry in 1996 at Swift Creek Baptist Church, Midlothian, Virginia. Jeff received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Graduate School in 2010. Prior to First Baptist he served in various ministerial roles (pastor, student pastor, educational pastor, missionary) in Virginia, Delaware, and the Bahamas. Jeff is passionate about family, personal discipleship, and fulfilling the Great Commission. Jeff and his wife, Cheryl, have twin boys: John and Caleb. His life verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
Buddy Caswell
Associate Pastor of Worship & Education
Buddy Caswell has been serving the First Baptist Family since March of 1993. He was ordained to the ministry in April of 1994. The church originally called Buddy to serve as Minister of Music and Youth. He served there for ten years and then moved to Minister of Music and Education where he currently serves. He completed his graduate work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2000. Buddy and his wife, Ronda has three boys: Ryan, Matthew, and Timothy. Buddy loves God’s Word and encourages others to love it as well. He enjoys ministering in the prison to inmates with the hope of pointing them to Christ. Hobbies include shopping, (Bass Pro Shop) hunting and fishing. If he had to choose a life verse from the Bible, it would be Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
Bobby Alexander
Associate Pastor of Students
Bobby Alexander and his wife Olga have been ministering to students and families for over twelve years. It is a calling that they embrace as an entire family unit. They have two children, Ebony and Elias and are thankful to be involved in Kingdom work for “such a time as this.” Bobby believes that the enemy's target is the family. Bobby was ordained to the ministry in 2004 at First Baptist Church, Grants New Mexico. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Religion from Liberty University in 2010 and has served First Baptist since November 2007. Bobby has a deep conviction to teach the whole Bible to the whole family. His goal is to come along side parents and assist them as they raise and spiritually disciple their children. Bobby's purpose for ministry is found in John 3:30, "He must increase, but I must decrease."
Janet Hogan
Financial Secretary
Janet Hogan has served the First Baptist family for over ten years. She began her ministry as the financial secretary in 2001. She and her husband, Ronnie, have been married since 1982 and have 3 children. Daughter Jolie and husband Michael, daughter Jena, son Kendall, and an energetic grandson, Landon. Her love for children soon earn her the title of Director of Children's Ministry. Janet greatly enjoys serving others. She loves music and is involved in the choir and Praise Band. She also passionate about Disney. Her fun energetic spirit is contagious and a joy to experience.
Caren Endres
Secretary
Caren Endres has served at First Baptist Church Family since April of 2004. She began as a part-time receptionist and has served for the last 3 years as the Church Secretary. For the last four years, Caren has served as VBS Director. She has also functioned as the Revolve Leader Coordinator for teen girls. She has been married for 28 years to her husband Layton. they have 3 children: Melissa, Jonathan and Nicole. She is expecting her first grandchild in 2011. She is blessed to witness her children have a passion for Christ and use their talents to serve Him. Caren has a passion for music, dance, and working with students.
